Scott has worked in health care management since 2009. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration and has worked in the assisted living industry in Utah since 2011. His inspiration comes from his grandparents, their memory drives him to create an atmosphere where people feel loved and at home. He follows professional and college sports and loves watching football. Scott describes himself as a diehard Arizona State University fan. He loves to play basketball, tennis and write music. He lives in Spanish Fork with his family and they enjoy spending time in the outdoors.
Kent was raised in Salem, Utah and graduated from Spanish Fork High School. He then studied and graduated from the College of Eastern Utah with degrees in marketing and business. He has been working in the healthcare field for 18 years, and 10 of those years focused on senior care. He has also worked with the Alzheimer’s Association Utah Chapter, and managed the “Foundations of Dementia Care” education program. Kent had the honor of being a full time caregiver to his parents for five years. His wife, Kathryn, is an RN and has been working in home health for 22 years. Senior care runs in the family! He now lives in Elk Ridge, and his hobbies include spending time with his family, baseball, photography.
Brad was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health at BYU, and is passionate about the healthcare industry. The inspiration to work in this field comes from his love for working with and learning from the elderly with their vast experiences and knowledge. Brad’s family comes first to him, and he believes that residents in the Legacy House community should be treated as such. He wants to create an atmosphere where they feel loved, appreciated, and wanted. His hobbies are playing and watching sports, singing in choirs, and spending time with family and friends.
Paige began her career in senior care as a CNA. She worked in several positions and departments before joining the Legacy House of Spanish Fork team, eventually being promoted to administrative assistant. She was originally from Utah, but grew up in Texas and Puerto Rico before moving to Spanish Fork. Paige enjoys working at Legacy not only for the friendly atmosphere, but the feeling of belonging. Not everyone can say they wake up excited to go to work, but she does! Her philosophy is an old saying by Aristotle: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” She believes in leading by example and doing her best. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, jet skiing, and camping.
Sue is a native of Spanish Fork and loves working in the community where she grew up. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Utah Valley University, and has worked in the health care industry for the past seven years. One of the things that Sue enjoys most about being at Legacy is the opportunity to learn something new each day from our extraordinary residents. Words of wisdom such as “Be grateful, kind and loving every day.” Or “you are never too old to improve yourself” are some of her favorites that she tries to incorporate into her life. Sue loves spending time with her family, learning new things and finding fun treasures at antique shops and yard sales.
Melanie enjoys working with the elderly and has for over 20 years. First as a CNA, then as a CNA/Cook/Assistant Administrator before she came to Legacy as Head Cook in 2013 . She loves caring for seniors and take great pride in doing so. She is also a talented Nail Technician with many years experience. Melanie is married and has 4 children, and grand children who are the light of her life. She enjoys my small house dogs. Melanie likes to camp, shop, travel, the Denver Broncos football and anything BYU! She has lived in Santaquin, Utah for 15+ years.She is very caring of those around her and works tirelessly as a wife, mother, and Food Service Director. She loves her family, decorating for the different holidays throughout the year and trying new and exciting places to eat. GO COUGARS!
Valoy enjoys working with seniors and has been working in the industry for over 16 years. She worked as an Administrator for eight years prior to coming to work at Legacy House of Spanish Fork. She is excited to be the Recreation Director at Legacy House of Spanish Fork and getting to know the residents, learning about their wisdom, and the lives they have lead. She is the mother of six children, five boys and one girl, and many grandchildren. Valoy enjoys spending time together as a family and especially celebrating the holidays.
Matt was born and raised in Richfield, Utah. He played multiple sports in high school and was an Eagle Scout. After high school, he served a Latter-Day-Saint Mission to Iceland. Matt is married to her amazing wife Kelly, and they have 2 boys and 2 girls. His family enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, and boating. Professionally, he has been involved in construction, restaurants, gas stations, and other businesses. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Masters in Accountancy. Matt is also a referee for high school and college basketball, and softball. He says the only fruit to eat are Skittles!
